Ford's F-150 Lightning is highly regarded for combining genuine truck capability with the benefits of electric driving. It shares its platform with the popular Ford F-150 but replaces the combustion engine with an electric drivetrain. The latest Lightning model brings slight refinements to its standard specifications and now includes a mobile charging cable featuring an NACS adapter.
What Are the 2025 F-150 Lightning Trims & Features?
The 2025 Lightning is offered in five trims.
The Pro base model includes vinyl seats and floors, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a factory trailer hitch. It features satellite radio, a digital instrument display, a 12-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 120V outlet. The Pro rides on 18-inch wheels, sports LED headlights, and supports DC fast charging.
The XLT trim upgrades to carpeted floors, a power-adjustable driver's seat, a leather steering wheel, under-seat storage, and enhanced safety features.
Flash brings 20-inch wheels, a power tailgate with integrated step, a larger 15.5-inch touchscreen, a heated steering wheel, push-button start, keyless entry, wireless charging, an upgraded eight-speaker B&O audio system, BlueCruise hands-free driving, and additional driver aids.
Lariat adds a dual-panel sunroof, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and leather upholstery.
The range-topping Platinum offers 22-inch wheels, a 14-speaker premium sound system, massaging front seats, luxury leather trim, a towing package, and Pro Power Onboard providing 9.6 kW.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 F-150 Lightning Have?
Standard dual motors generate 452 hp and 775 lb-ft of torque, while the extended-range battery on higher trims boosts power to 580 hp and extends range.
