What's New for the 2027 Ford Super Duty?
Ford refines the powertrain options on the 2027 Super Duty to two V8 powerplants. The standard selection is a 7.3-liter Godzilla V8, while drivers seeking heavy towing capability can select the high-output 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbocharged V8 diesel engine. Exterior paint choices now feature Neptune Blue and Iconic Silver Metallic.
The base XL trim can now be specified with the Tremor Off-Road Package, which equips the truck with a Tremor-tuned suspension with a factory lift, 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, skid plates, and an electronically locking rear differential.
Ford also debuts the Carhartt Edition, bringing workwear-inspired style to the pickup. This model receives signature Carhartt emblems, distinct 20-inch wheels, and custom interior upholstery.
What Are the 2027 Super Duty Trims and Features?
Five primary trim models structure the Super Duty lineup: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum.
The baseline XL model includes heavy-duty vinyl seats, 5G Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity, and an 8.0-inch SYNC 4 screen with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®.
Upgrades on the XLT trim include 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome bumpers, cloth upholstery, and a power-adjustable driver seat.
The Lariat trim brings elevated comfort through heated and ventilated front seats and dual-zone climate control. Technological features include a 12.0-inch touchscreen with navigation, an eight-speaker B&O audio system, and a digital instrument display.
In the King Ranch, luxurious touches include Active Motion massaging front seats, a head-up display, and power-deployable running boards. The Platinum trim finishes the lineup with standard advanced towing technology.
How Much Horsepower Does It Have?
The 7.3-liter Godzilla V8 is rated at 430 horsepower and 485 lb-ft of torque. Choosing the high-output Power Stroke diesel engine boosts output to 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque.
