What Are the 2024 Ford Transit Trims & Features?
The 2024 Transit is available in Cargo Van, Passenger Van XL, and Passenger Van XLT trims. Even the tough Transit Cargo Van comes with popular features, including Bluetooth, USB ports, and reclining bucket seats. For an enhanced driving experience, Ford's optional SYNC 4 infotainment system offers a 12.0-inch LCD touchscreen with Connected Navigation.
The Transit Passenger Van XL includes many of the same features as the Cargo Van but adds rear air vents, rear USB ports, and cloth seating surfaces. The Passenger Van XLT model offers power-folding mirrors, front fog lights, and reclining rear seats for more comfort and convenience. The SYNC 4 infotainment system also becomes standard on the XLT.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2024 Transit Have?
The new Transit's standard engine is a 3.5-liter PDFI V6 that delivers a solid 275 horsepower. For more power, the optional 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 produces 310 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. While rear-wheel drive is standard, an Intelligent AWD system is available.
What Safety Features Does the 2024 Transit Include?
Ford Co-Pilot360 equips the Transit with a suite of safety features, including Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, which can detect vehicles and pedestrians ahead. A Lane-Keeping System and rearview camera are also standard. The optional Blind Spot Information System further helps prevent accidents by detecting vehicles in hard-to-see areas. Additional available driver-assist technologies include Adaptive Cruise Control, a 360-degree camera system, and Enhanced Active Park Assist.
