For the 2022 model year, the Ford F-150 gets many new features and updates. The most significant changes are an all-new PowerBoost hybrid powertrain, updated styling inside and out, new technology features, and more. 2022 Ford F-150 Trims & Features

The F-150 is offered in a wide range of trims and configurations.

There are six engine choices, three drivetrains, and four body styles.

The lineup starts with the XL. A work truck focused on function over form. Next up is the XLT, which adds more creature comforts and luxury features. The Lariat is a step up from there with an even more premium interior. The King Ranch and Platinum trims are even more luxurious. At the same time, the range-topping F-150 Limited is the most expensive and exclusive model. Finally, the Raptor is the off-road-focused model.

2022 Ford F-150 Horsepower

The base engine is a 3.3-liter V6 with 290 horsepower and 265 lb.-ft of torque. The 2.7-liter turbocharged V6 engine is next in line with 325 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft of torque.

The 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 is offered in two different tunes. The first one makes 375 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft of torque.

The second one is the new PowerBoost hybrid powertrain with 430 horsepower and 570 lb.-ft of torque.

The 5.0-liter V8 engine produces 395 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft of torque. The 3.0-liter diesel V6 engine makes 250 horsepower and 440 lb.-ft of torque. Finally, the high-performance Raptor model has a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 engine with 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft of torque.

2022 Ford F-150 Safety Features

The F-150 comes standard with several safety features, including airbags, stability control, and a rearview camera.

Optional safety features include lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and a surround-view camera system. The NHTSA gave the F-150 a five-star overall safety rating.

The IIHS has not yet rated the F-150.
