What's New For the 2020 Ford Mustang?

The 2020 Ford Mustang is currently the highest-rated muscle car on the market. For the 2020 model year, the Mustang will include some new features that will enhance its quality. One of the features will be a new handling package for the EcoBoost four-cylinder engine option. Along with the improved handling option, the EcoBoost will also come with a performance package and increased engine output as well. The FordPass Connect will also become standard with all Mustangs. This version of the Mustang is part of the sixth generation that was introduced in 2015.

Which Trims & Features are Available in 2020?

There are five trims available with the 2020 Ford Mustang. The base model trim is the EcoBoost, which features a turbocharged 4 cylinder engine. With this engine, it provides the best fuel economy for the Mustang. This trim also comes with either a six-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic, which is optional. Its standard features include 17-inch wheels, keyless entry and ignition, a six-speaker sound system, remote start, and a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot

The EcoBoost Premium is the next trim level that includes the same turbocharged 4 cylinder engine that is 2.3 liters. This trim also includes 19-inch wheels, summer tires, a larger radiator, an active exhaust, a front air splitter, and a larger rear spoiler compared to the EcoBoost.

With the GT trim, the Mustang comes with a V8 engine along with adjustable power seats, 18-inch wheels, and rear parking sensors. It also comes with either a manual transmission or an automatic transmission. The GT Premium has the same features of the EcoBoost Premium, along with a GT Performance Package that offers upgrades to the tires, brakes, and suspension.

The top trim level of the Mustang is the Bullit, which has all of the standard features of the GT Premium, along with numerous mechanical upgrades. It adds 20 horsepower, special wheels, the Bullitt logo, and an active exhaust. There are other features of the Mustang, which include a heated steering wheel, a 12 speaker sound system, Recaro seats, a digital gauge cluster.

A Perfect Blend of Power and Fuel Efficiency

2020 Ford MustangOne of the most notable aspects of the 2020 Ford Mustang is the horsepower. It is one of the fastest and more powerful cars on the market. The EcoBoost trim levels offer 310 horsepower on a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine. With the GT and GT Premium, the horsepower is 460, which is among the highest in its class. The Bullitt trim comes with 480 horsepower. By offering this much horsepower, the Ford Mustang provides consumers with one of the top options if they are looking to purchase a high-performance vehicle.

Safety Features in the Forefront for 2020

2020 Ford MustangIn terms of safety features, the Ford Mustang offers all of the safety features offered on all other vehicles. It provides stability control, anti-lock brakes, tire pressure monitoring, airbags, traction control, and a rearview mirror. Along with these standard features, the Mustang also offers a few other systems that provide additional safety features as well.

It has Lane Keeping Alert, which makes a chime anytime the car drifts to the edge of a lane. There is also pre-collision assist which applies the brakes and sounds an alert when an impending collision is detected. A Reverse Sensing System provides an audible alert whenever a driver is reversing the vehicle to any object or vehicle that is behind the car.
