The Ford F-150 SuperCab recently crushed the competition, claiming the only “Good” rating in a small overlap front crash test conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). "Good" is the highest rating a vehicle can earn in any of the company’s evaluations; and as you’ll see below, no other truck model that was tested earned top ratings across the board.

Due to its scores in this and other evaluations, the 2016 F-150’s SuperCab and SuperCrew, which had already previously been tested, won IIHS Top Safety Pick awards when outfitted with a collision warning system.
