Irving's annual Holiday Extravaganza Parade will take place this year on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015. Scheduled to be held from 4-6 p.m., the event will include a community parade through Heritage District and a traditional tree lighting ceremony in front of Irving City Hall.

The theme for this year's Holiday Extravaganza Parade will be none other than "The 12 Days of Christmas." From charming floats and live performances to marching bands and ensembles, there will be plenty of incredible sights for children and adults to enjoy. Anyone who'd like to participate in the parade is welcome to do so and can download an entry form online.
Once the parade has reached its final destination, attendees will then be invited to watch the annual tree lighting ceremony outside of Irving City Hall. There will be a holiday stage with musical and dance performances, complimentary hot chocolate and a variety of food vendors onsite. To top it off, the tree lighting ceremony will conclude with a massive fireworks display for all to admire.
The 2015 Holiday Extravaganza Parade is free for everyone to attend, making it the perfect holiday event for the entire family. Be sure to attend this year's event and take part in all the fun it has to offer!
