What's New for the 2022 Ford Explorer ST-Line

2022 Ford Explorer ST-Line Trim Levels

The new Explorer ST-Line appears similar to the 400-hp Explorer ST. There are two trims in the Explorer ST-Line, the ST-Line 4WD and ST-Line RWD. Both trim levels share 20" wheels, a heated sport steering wheel, ST-Line badges, dual exhaust tips incorporated into the fascia, black grille, and contrast red stitching on Ebony Black ActiveX™-trimmed seats.

Also available is high-end technology, including a wireless charging pad, Co-Pilot360 Assist Technology, ST-Line scuff plates, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a 360-degree view, voice-activated navigation, and a Bang-Olfussen 12 speaker audio system.

2022 Ford Explorer ST-Line Horsepower and Performance

Powering the Explorer ST-Line is a 2.3L four-cylinder engine producing 300 hp with 310 pounds of torque, with the AWD having a Class II Tow Package rating. The ST-Line has the same 10-speed transmission used in all the Explorer ST models.

The ST-Line rides on 20' aluminum wheels, and the exterior has ST black-out trim areas. The Explorer ST-Line AWD is rated at 20 mpg city and 27 mpg highway while the RWD is rated at 21 mpg city and 28 mpg highway with 0-60 in 6.8 seconds.
