2019 Transit Trims & Features

In 2019, both the Ford Transit and the Ford Transit Connect are produced in three trim levels. The base trim of the Ford Transit seats two people, while the two higher trim levels can hold up to 15 occupants. At a minimum, you'll find the essentials for a comfortable ride in the Ford Transit. The 2019 Ford Transit also includes a number of storage systems that help to organize and store your accessories and equipment in a safe and effective manner.

Cargo tie-down hooks are standard on the lowest trim level, while center consoles are included in all three trims. Multi-way adjustable seats and leather seats are offered on the higher trim levels. The 2019 Ford Transit Connect has a seating capacity for seven occupants across all three trim levels. Dual-zone climate control is standard, even at the base level. An auto-dimming rear-view mirror is standard on all three trim levels, as are 12V power outlets in the front and back rows. The base trim level comes with a 4.2-inch driver infotainment display screen, while the highest trim level comes with a 6.5-inch infotainment display screen with navigation and an AM/FM radio.

The second engine choice is a 3.2L diesel engine. No matter which engine you choose, the Ford Transit comes with a six-speed automatic transmission. There are also three engines available in the Ford Transit Connect. The base engine is a 2.0L, four-cylinder engine that features direct injection technology.
