The engine in the Big Bend is a 1.5-liter three-cylinder producing 180 horsepower. This model features a standard all-wheel drive system. The Badlands uses a 2-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 250 horsepower and includes an advanced 4x4 all-wheel drivetrain.

The Badlands model is uniquely equipped with a twin-clutch rear drive system, steel skid plates, and a lifted suspension for trail performance. While the Big Bend offers five G.O.A.T. modes for terrain management, the Badlands adds Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl modes for a total of seven selectable settings.

Appearance

Visual cues on the 2026 Bronco Sport vary by trim. The Big Bend comes standard with a body-color roof, though the shadow-black roof seen on the Badlands is available as an option. Both models feature white BRONCO lettering on a carbonized black grille. Personalization for the Big Bend includes body-color door handles and alternate grille finishes, such as ebony-black with bronze accents.

Features

The Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0 suite is standard on both trims. The Badlands adds specialized features such as a trail-view camera system and front-facing sensors. The cabin technology in the Big Bend utilizes an 8-inch screen, while the Badlands features a 12.3-inch display.
