New Ford models come with different types of warranties as the manufacturer is committed to standing behind the quality and reliability of their vehicles.

New Vehicle Limited Warranty

Ford includes a New Vehicle Limited Warranty with each new vehicle purchase. The warranty covers adjustments, replacements, and repairs caused by defective parts or faulty workmanship during the specified coverage period.

Powertrain Warranty

This type of warranty covers any issues that are related to the parts in the powertrain. The parts must be eligible for repairs and don't require paying a deductible.

Emissions Defect Warranty

The Emissions Defect Warranty covers passenger cars and light-duty pickup trucks for 2 years or 24,000 miles and certain emissions parts for 8 years or 80,000 miles. Heavy-duty vehicles are covered for 5 years or 50,000 miles. A deductible is not required to perform the repairs. 

Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Unique Component Coverage

All hybrid and electric models manufactured by Ford come with the Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Unique Component Coverage. Certain components in the electric drivetrain system are covered, which will vary depending on whether it's a hybrid or electric model.

Safety Restraint Warranty

This warranty provides coverage on the airbag supplemental restraint system and the seat belts. Any defects are covered for up to five years or 60,000 miles, depending on which comes first.

Westway Ford also offers MPP plans for even more protection, including extended warranties for older models, service contracts, lease wear coverage, and GAP.

Corrosion Warranty

Although it's unlikely for corrosion to develop, this warranty is included to ensure that body panels are repaired or replaced should corrosion damage occur during the first 5 years, regardless of miles driven. Don't hesitate to ask us for specific coverage details.
