Irving Schools Foundation (ISF) funds scholarships, activities, and innovative programs that enhance educational opportunities for children. ISF, located in Irving, Texas, has worked to connect with educators and children in need in the Irving Independent School District (ISD) network. Since its foundation, Irving Schools Foundation has served more than 33,500 students in the ISD, provided over 245,000 meals to students in need, and awarded more than $3 million in scholarships.

About Irving Schools Foundation

ISF was created in 1985. Since then, it has provided essentials for students, including meals and supplies. Irving Schools Foundation also helps train educators to give students the educational training they need to excel in their personal and professional lives.

ISF has a number of programs that provide students with academic support, enrichment, and assistance, along with programs that offer basic needs such as safety, food, and supplies.

Food for Thought

Food for Thought is one of ISF's programs designed to help children meet their basic nutritional needs to perform better in school. The program offers food to children on the weekends and during lunch breaks for more than 75% of children in the Irving ISD.

Spark Tank

Spark Tank is a program that provides funding for teachers and educators who have unique ideas that transcend the classroom learning experience.

Supplies for Success

This program, which is jump-started each year through a back-to-school drive for supplies held in the summer, provides Irving ISD children with basic school supplies that they need for classes each day, including pens, notepads, textbooks, and other necessities. The program accepts donated school supplies to equip students with the supplies they need. Alternatively, community members and organizations can donate cash, and Irving School Foundation will do the shopping.

Caring & Sharing

Caring and Sharing is a special holiday program. Each year, Caring & Sharing works to collect and deliver toys and other gifts for disadvantaged students in the Irving Independent School District.

The anti-bullying program works to raise awareness of the harmful effects of bullying in school settings. The program gives students and parents the tools and resources required to combat bullying for a safer and more productive learning environment for all.

Every year, Irving Schools Foundation provides scholarships to students and employees. Motivated students are encouraged to submit their applications for scholarships to receive financial support for ongoing education. Scholarships are also available for exceptional educators. Irving Schools Foundation welcomes scholarships to be made in honor of a remarkable individual as well.
