QUICK TIPS
Before you get started, you must ensure that your phone is paired with your Ford and that the text notifications are turned on. Once this is done, you have several options.
When a text message comes in, you can choose to have SYNC 3 read it to you by pressing the Hear It button in the options menu. You can also press the voice button on your steering wheel and use the voice command “Read message.”
In addition, you can press the View button on the options menu to see the message or press the Call button if you want to call the sender. To reply back to the message, you may select from several pre-set messages by pressing the Reply button.
Want to view previous text messages? Browse up to 50 archived texts by going to the phone icon on your touchscreen display and then select the text message tile. To hear your old messages aloud, click the speaker icon next to the message.
