We all dread that day that something important comes up, whether it be a date, a luncheon or just something where you have to have a clean vehicle. You take a look at your car and think to yourself, “This is going to take forever.” Well, Westway Ford has put together some ideas to help keep your clean time to a minimum.
The first thing you can do to prevent a total mess in your vehicle is don’t eat inside of it. It may be hard especially if you have a longer commute to work or always eat on the run. This will prevent wrappers, crumbs and stains on the seats. The proper thing to do when entering someone’s home is to wipe your feet on the mat. Why can’t we do the same for vehicles? Be sure to get that dirt, leaves, rain water, etc., off of your kicks before stepping inside of your car. It will take an extra minute of your time, but save plenty when you aren’t picking up week old leaves on your floor board. Keeping a trash bag inside your car wouldn’t be a bad idea for receipts and old gum wrappers too!
Westway hasn’t just thought of ways to keep the interior clean, we gave the exterior some thought too. Driving down the road you see plenty of vehicles parked on their driveway or the street instead of their perfectly good garage. It may seem easier and quicker to just pull into your driveway, but Mother Nature does not always cooperate. If you park in the garage it’ll save you from getting hail damage, rain water spots, or even bird poop. Getting into a routine of washing your car regularly would benefit your car’s cleanliness a lot. Pick a certain day of the week to go get a car wash or just hand wash your vehicle.
It may seem like a chore to keep your vehicle clean, but it really is easy! If you make sure to keep up with these tips, your car won’t ever be dirty.
