Vaughn Gittin Jr. is known for his outstanding abilities on the race track, so when we recently got word that he decided to take his 2015 Ford Mustang RTR for a joy ride on a frozen road, we knew the end result had to be phenomenal. Lucky for us, the entire act was filmed and now has been released by Ford, giving us a glimpse into the art of drifting on ice.
In the short clip released on Ford's YouTube channel, you can see Vaughn Gittin Jr. take to a frozen track in his 2015 Mustang RTR. The car whips around the pathway with ease, drifting smoothly past snowbanks at top speeds. Shards of snow and water can been seen spewing from both sides of the car as it effortlessly dominates the ice-covered road. A dream come true for any drifting aficionado, the stunt goes off without a hitch, highlighting the capabilities of Gittin’s customized Mustang RTR and showcasing the power of the Ford brand.
