Ford Motor Company has been named one of Fortune magazine’s 2015 Blue Ribbon Companies. The annual ranking, which features a total of 25 companies this year, recognizes organizations that are making headway in several different areas and those that have been included on four or more Fortune lists throughout 2015.
We are more than proud of Ford's recent accomplishment and we know the company will continue to reach new heights as we carry out 2016. For 2015, Ford Motor Company was featured on a total of four lists released by Fortune over the course of the year. Ford came in at number 42 on the Change to World list; number 27 on the Global 500; number 9 on the Fortune 500; and number 6 in the auto industry on the World's Most Admired Companies list.
This year's list of Blue Ribbon Companies is Fortune magazine’s largest compilation to date. No previous list has featured a total of 25 companies. With this being said, we are especially proud to see Ford make the cut this year and have high hopes that the company will be included on the prestigious list once again for 2016.
