Ford SYNC
The most obvious choice for the option we are most thankful for is SYNC. This system makes everyone’s lives better while driving. It is available with voice activated technology so you can keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. It is the main hub for all your controls including music, phone, navigation, climate control and in some models such as the Fusion, has a color coded LCD touch screen.
Adaptive Cruise Control
This is one of the coolest new features that actually can detect changing traffic speeds ahead and adjust your speed accordingly based on your pre-set distance. When it detects slower traffic it will slow down, and after traffic has cleared it will resume to the set speed. This feature also has rain-sensing wipers that will automatically turn on when rain is detected on the windshield. This great feature comes as an option in the new Mustang.
Active Park Assist
For those who fear parallel parking this will probably be your all time favorite feature of any car. To think that we have come far enough to be able to have our cars park themselves is amazing! When you are driving around, looking for a spot, the press of a button will began scanning for a spot large enough to fit the car. When the spot is found, you will be alerted and instructed to stop and put the car in reverse. From there all you do is brake and shift and the car will be automatically parked for you.
