Come celebrate the spirit of Christmas at this year's 2014 Holiday Extravaganza. Held on Saturday, Dec 6, at Irving Heritage District, this special seasonal event is free for the entire Irving community to attend and features a phenomenal holiday parade complete with one-of-a-kind floats. A Tree Lighting Ceremony will also be held following the parade as well as an appearance from the Big Man himself, Santa Claus! The 2014 Holiday Extravaganza is one event you won't want to miss, so make sure you bring your entire family out to enjoy the fun - it's guaranteed to be a magical time!

Running from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., the 2014 Holiday Extravaganza is the perfect holiday evening event for Irving families. In addition to featuring an incredible Christmas parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony, the festival will include a stage show with dance and musical performances from some of the area's greatest musicians. Leading up to the Tree Lighting, complimentary hot chocolate will also be served for all festival-goers to enjoy while the countdown commences. Once the official ceremony is complete, an incredible fireworks display will then light up Irving City Hall, providing a beautiful backdrop to the newly lit tree.
