Ford's Integrated Services division has a new president: Michael Aragon. His background leading Lululemon Digital Fitness, PlayStation Network, and Crunchyroll sets him up for success at Ford.
Michael Aragon's Arrival at Ford
Ford has long attracted standout leaders. Aragon replaces Peter Stern, who transitions to President of Peloton Interactive. Ford aficionados are eager to see Aragon's vision in action.
In his introductory speech, he discussed creating richer cabin experiences: “We can spark new in-cabin experiences and services that feel seamless and contextual for our customers.” He'll direct enhancements to Ford BlueCruise, Ford Pro applications, and Model e offerings.
A major priority is expanding beyond Ford's 800,000 paid subscriptions. CEO Mike Farley wholeheartedly supports Aragon, believing he'll significantly advance Integrated Services.
On the Ford+ strategy, Farley said, “The heart of the Ford+ plan is to match our iconic and trusted vehicles with incredible services and experiences that will improve the lives of our customers and help businesses succeed.” He added, “Mike is the right leader to build on our early success with Integrated Services and help Ford capture this immense growth opportunity.”
Aragon officially took the helm on March 17. An alumnus of the University of New Mexico with an MBA from Dartmouth, he has a stellar Fortune 500 track record and boosted Twitch's profile. Ford anticipates his leadership will yield impressive outcomes.
